New Year Computer Resolutions
Happy
New Year from all of us at Computer Sights!
We want to suggest some new year resolutions
to keep your computers running smoothly.
Don't pull your hair out this year, keep
your computers running in tip-top shape by
performing regular maintenance. 1) If you
haven't gotten a virus scanner, get one!
It's imperative to keep your system from
getting infected with the thousands of
viruses, trojans and other malicious
webpages that lurk in cyberspace. 2) Run a
system defrag. Just like organizing your
year-end files, your hard drive needs to
keep itself organized on a regular basis. To
run a defrag, see our
support website for detailed
instructions. 3) Keep a backup of your data.
If you haven't backed up, now is a great
time to get into the habit in case you have
hard drive failures or your system is
stolen. A simple flash (thumb) drive is a
great way to keep your important documents
or accounting records backed-up. 4) Dust out
your system. Dust build-up creates heat
related failures and its simple to do. See
our
support site for tips on cleaning your
PC's or contact our service department to
inquire about a regular preventive
maintenance program at your office.

Surveillance Technology

Not just for watching your building, but
your computer too!
Ever
wonder what other people or your employees
are doing on company systems? You don't have
to wonder any longer. You can see exactly
what they are doing all the time. Record
every detail of what someone does on your
computer - their chats, instant messages,
emails, the web sites they visit, what they
search for, what they do on MySpace, the
pictures they post and look at, the
keystrokes they type, with the advanced
surveillance screen snapshot features, you
get to see not only WHAT they do, but the
EXACT order in which they do it, step by
step. Visit our
retail showroom or
take a look at our other surveillance
options at our
webstore.
